It's hard to believe that Whiskerino lasted 4 months.
It got me thinking that while this past four months represents only one percent of my lifespan so far, it also means I've worn this beard for ten percent of my daughter's entire life. I wonder if she even remembers what I look like without a beard.
Beard-growing let me see how significant an effect the passing of time has on us all. We each change almost unnoticably each day, but before we even have time to look twice those small changes have collaborated to cause big changes.
We grow beards so fast.
We grow up so fast.
We'll grow old just as fast.
Enjoy every minute of it.
If Whiskerino has taught me anything it is that every day provides something different and it pays to take a picture before things change themselves once again.
