I wasn't involved this year as I would have liked to been, but still managed to meet a lot of really cool people and make some new friends out of this whole thing (and isn't that what it's all about?).

Thanks Michael for all the time you put into this, and just having this ridicously idea in the first place. Now we all just have to figure out how to harness our bearded power into something productive or at least something to new to occupy our time.

Robozo said on Feb 28 @ 5:38am True Ozzy. My somewhat reclusive/reserved personality isn't necesarily conductive to meeting lots of new people in a large group atmosphere. Chances are if you didn't come up to me, we didn't meet...which is definitely my loss.

It all began on the island of Java in Indonesia some 25 odd years ago. A little boy was born that didn't look quite like the other little boys from the village, you see, he was white. All the villagers danced around the little boy and invited him to all the cool island parties, because they knew one day he would grow up to be a great beard grower.

Now is my chance to live up to that great legacy, and prove to all my sahabats back in the homeland that I fullfilled my destiny.
